As a producer Donyea has scored a top ten Gospel single with “I Would’t Know You”, by James Fortune and Fiya. He has also produced other singles including the hit Clark Sisters remake “Is my Living in Vain”, by Zie’l. Which earned him a Stellar award nomination. Other singles include the chart topping Jazz single “Love You So Much”, by Darren Motamedy and “Grown Folks”, by soul singer, Choklate. Donyea has done music for TV networks, commericals, and shows such as B.E.T.’s Celebration Of Gospel, Oil Of Olay, KFC, Kia, McDonalds, and more!

Donyea has also earned recognition as a sought after Music Director and Keyboardist. He has shared the stage with the legendary gospel music icon Rev. Clay Evans, gospel songwriter/singer Kurt Carr, Marvin Sapp, Dorinda Clark Cole, R&B singer Eric Roberson, Raheem Devaughn, Sunday’s Best Winner Crystal Aiken, Earth Wind and Fire, Kim Burrell, Dove Award winners Bryan Duncan & the Neho Soul Band, and more. He has also contributed his talents as a film score editor and sound developer to movies for Imagine Films, Disney and Pixar Entertainment.

With an ear and passion for music, Donyea is embarking on a new journey as an artist. He is currently working on new projects with Tobbi & Tommi, and has just recently released the single “You” written and co-produced with amazing singer and songwriter Shyloh! And has also released his debut jazz album ‘Groovin At Sunrise’.

Vyann Experiences | 1er Voyage EP

Vyann Experiences are a Paris based musical collective consisting of Viane M (Horn & Production), Jalal (Producer), Daaf (Vocals), Deeway (Vocals), Florent Pelissier (Jazz pianist), Zrink, The Soulchimiste, Christophe (Guitarist) and Stéphane D. A diverse group of individuals who have various backgrounds and influences from not only Jazz but Soul, Neo-Soul, Rock, Hip Hop and other styles of modern electronic music.

They are very much inspired by legendary Jazz artists such as Miles Davis, Herbie Hancock, Donald Byrd, Charlie Parker etc. They fuse this with more modern Hip Hop and Neo Soul influences from artists like the late J Dilla, Erykah Badu, D’Angelo, Soulquarians and such. The collective definitely have their own style to merge with all those influences too however.

1er Voyage is the debut release and is currently exclusive to Bandcamp. However, there are plans of putting something more official out in future, possibly a vinyl release.

After the success of his two recent projects “Beats From Oakland” in 2012 and “Lorem Ipsum” in 2013 (which reached almost 12,000 downloads from Bandcamp, Soundcloud and his own site, Todd The Big La Kelley this week released his new album “Moods”, his 11th musical project since 1996.

In that time he has created close to 500 songs and the “Moods” album will mark his last solo project. After this, Todd says he plans to put his creative juices into working with other artists and composing music for video projects as well as getting all of his dream collaborations done, whether it’s original stuff or remixes.

The new project which spans HipHop, Soul, Jazzy beats, bonus tracks and guest appearances from people like TJ Brown, Doyle Robinson, Trel Robinson, Aarophat, Doug Ramsey, Philip Clark plus remixes of Phonte + Median, Sean Price + Skyzoo and Ryan Deshawn will drop as a free download on his music sites.

However, aside from the video teaser, the big news this week is the launch of his Kickstarter campaign to record and release his 11th studio album “CHURCH” based on the famous NYC and LA parties by the same name. Contributors to the campaign will have the opportunity to pre-order the album, receive back catalog USB drives, lifetime show tickets for anywhere in the world, private lessons from the man himself, and quite a bit more!
